Jazzbo
'Black Friday' LP
(+7") / CD CD
deleted
Black Friday is a record that means freshness in the
stagnant background of Ska - Jazz. It is a well-structured record, 100% instrumental,
in which the title of each tune makes an idea of the feeling of the track
we are about to listen to. It is highly advisable, not only for ska staunch
supporters, but also for vintage sound sybarites: One of the main features
of this record is that it has been recorded live, according to old Jamaican
custom when some of the members played with Yebo.
This is a record in which work is easily appreciable as well as a group discipline
that seems focused on rescuing, in the most original way, the genuine Jamaican
sound. Whatever done that sounds similar to the sound of this record, which
has been recorder by a german band in 2004, hasn't been done elsewhere than
in Jamaica before 1967.
It
is still available it's special vinyl limited edition: an LP + a single.

The Peeping Toms 'Maximum Rhythm & Reggae' LP / CD
During
the 60t’s RCA Victor released under the name of “New Appointment
for Dancing” a number of LP’s inviting to dance, of venues and
smoke, of orchestras and clubs. The Peeping Toms makes an appointment with
you finding a place under the dancehall lights. And the music starts... hypnotic,
smart, jamaican; the venue has become a giant dancehall. The Peeping Toms
are spying you, direct to your heart, to the dancehall and to you feet. It’s
a way of life, it’s just a word: pride.
The Peeping Toms members has a wide history in ska and reggae music coming
from bands like Malarians.
At this point it’s not easy to surprise you with new sounds, bands or
the way re-interpreting jamaican musical heritage but, nevertheless, The Peeping
Toms did it, how? with delightful interpretation, simple, natural and brilliant
compositions, and the best live appearances since they’ve got a long
expirience over the stage.

Los Granadians 'El Temperamental Sonido' LP / CD
A selction of secret recordings: eleven tracks, 10 of them previously unreleased, which have been played in mostly all their gigs during the last years. This young male group proves, once again, their love for the new fashionable rhythms like Rocksteady & Reggae while shows, through the microgrooves of this album.

Dave Barker 'Peach Green Reggae' SG 7"
The
most applauded Dave Barker single for the last decades. Far from limiting
himself to re-record his old hits, Dave is now presenting new stuff,
backed by the new millenium boss reggae leaders, The Granadians from Outer
Space.
The beast is not dead, not even is wounded, it is still fighting, both on
the stages and the vinyl grooves, giving the young reggae fans some of the
infectious sound they love. This single keeps the soul flame burning, reggae
music on it's original form.

the last project he was involved in.
Superstar, the album, has been released on digipack CD and LP limited to 500
copies for collectors with a different cover.

Jazzbo
'Born Blue' CD
It
is their best album up to date, I don't mean that it's got a better instrumentation
than their other albums, since the musicians has got a proved prestige and
quality and couldn't probably play better than they do, with that jazzy feeling,
but on this album they have got a wider variety of sounds that touchs you
from the begining to the end.
The recording method has been the same as always for a repertory full of strictly
instrumentals covers, mostly from jazz standards, but with some own compositions.
Born Blue's successful artwork has been made by Martin Bartels, Jazzbo's double
bass player and famous german designer, a digipack case illustrated with pictures
taken on their last spanish tour on 2005.

Dennis Alcapone 'Boss Porn Sound' SG 7"
Vinil single for Dennis Alcapone, the jamaican who revolutioned the DJ science in the early 70's. This single was recorded with the support of Wnston Reedy (The Cimarons) doing the backing vocals and The Cabrians as backing band in December 2005.

Mr. Symarip 'The Skinheads Dem A Come' CD/DLP
The return of Symarip's lead singer Roy Ellis to the reggae / ska scene after being involved on his gospel and soul projects in Switzerland for years.
The Skinheads Dem A Come is a classic jamaican album, a brilliant recording with Roy Ellis musicians and the great voice of a master.

There's a limited double LP edition for collectors of which you can order now your copy.

The Kinky Coo Coo's 'Montjuic Boneyard' CD
This album is full of Rocksteady rhythms plus some other traditional jamaican styles like the classic Reggae and Ska. It's crowdy line up with 4 singers and some of the best musicians from Catalunya's scene prove both on album and on the stage the name that rules today.
The album has been recorded at the 'Kinkylab', their own recording studio keeping a tender production, both in the musical and in the esthetic way. And very special guest on this recording are names like the jamaican glory Dave Barker and Ruben Lopes Warrior.

Red Soul Community 'Pump Reggae DSG / CD
“Pump Reggae” is not only the name of the new project of Red Soul Community. The term represents a style by itself. It defines the new sound that we all were waiting for. We are talking about breaking compositions, performed from the deepest tradition of the original reggae, and leaded by soul melodies that make them sound different. You won’t find the classic revival of the Jamaican sounds, but songs that won’t stop playing on your radio and on the dancefloor of the best reggae and soul parties in your city.
This work for the Liquidator label is an example of what this band from the Alhambra city can offer to us. Don’t miss the chance of getting it, specially if you love early reggae and black sounds.
Red Soul Community appears with one aim, to create a unique sound that can be both elegant and rough, and that can go beyond the underground scene.
Los Granadians 'Space Is Different' 10"
This 10” vinyl is composed by seven new songs which become to be anthems after the first listening, in their own classic style: sincer love songs and wicked instrumental tunes in a Reggae and Rocksteady style. This new disc is only released as a 10 inches vinyl, a kind of gift for their patient fans who has been supporting the band for years.
”The vinyl format is very important for us, too . We sat down and thought in how could we show our respect and affection to all the girls and boys who enjoy with what we do and make us feel special, and decided that our fans are the best in the world and we deserve the best for them.”
"This album resumes in it’s title the Granadian phylosophy, our point of view of how things develope, our fans will understand it perfectly.”

The Cabrians 'For A Few Pussies More' CD
They left Mataró riding through the dangerous far west mountains and now are coming back with a shack full of new adventures with Ska, Calypso and Western Reggae rhythms. For A Few Pussies More shows the far west’s wildest side: executed sheriffs, drunken duels and red hot Can Can dancers selling their bodies for an old whiskey bottle.
Mario Cabretti's band, closely pursued by the Federals and hidden in the border town of Chihuahua, recorded this new album along with other wanted men such as Rubén Lópes Warrior (Black Up/Malarians/Peeping Toms, etc.), Ricard Vinyets (Amusic Skazz Band), Giorgio (Boss-Sounds); and other
wrongdoers.

The Senior Allstars 'Come Around' LP
The band earned its first reputation with years of collaboration with Ska- and Reggae- artist Dr. Ring-Ding, gaining international acclaim through numerous releases and countless tours.
The loose and light hearted opener Ô25 CentÕ or the tune ÔWha'ppenÕ, deeply rooted in Jamaican soil, already communicate visibly that the Senior Allstars attach great importance to an organic growth of their creations. These develop all their unobtrusive and irresistible power of painting a picture in a space of sound that both takes you beyond spheres and lets you get in touch with the instruments as close as possible. Spanning from the slacking charms of the title track to the funky Reggae of ÔT-Bird SkankÕ, the Senior Allstars invite you to ÔCome aroundÕ - without words, but never speechless.

Mr. Symarip - Roy Ellis 'Shine, Shine, Shine' 7"
A great single by Symarip's headquarter, Trojan's ever best seller.
'Shine, Shine, Shine a.k.a. When Those Skins Come Marchin' In' is a catchy reggae tune destined to be a chartbuster hit. Not averybody knows that when Roy formed Symarip he started playing trombone but then he left it for leading the band both singing and writting. On this single's b-side we can see the version with Roy playing trombon after so many years...
