JOHNNY REGGAE RUB FOUNDATION are the only one-man-band-trio of the world!
At the heart is Johnny Ska, who is not only singer and guitarist of the trio, but providing the good groove on his Rudie Drums. Accompanied by Rudy Rocksteady on bass as well as tight organ and brilliant female vocals by Chrissy Reggae the one-man-show becomes the tiniest skaband of the world.

JOHNNY REGGAE RUB FOUNDATION is jamaican based contemporary music, a mixture of Ska, Early Reggae & Rocksteady impressively put on stage with pretty cool arrangements, nice crooner vocals, sing-along-parts and an incredible phat sound!

Original reggae style: the first publication of the band was a 7“ vinyl containing a version of the well known classic ‘Johnny Reggae’ and a subtle grooving own composition called ‘Threesome’. We are proud to announce, that we are currently working with Victor Rice on our next release. The recordings took place between Christmas and New Year’s Eve 2011. The perfect time to take stock of oneself and work on some cool tunes. While recording and mixing we had great support by Skankaroos frontman Niklas, who was on hand with help and advice. The journey went on to Hamburg, where the guys from Amei.se pressed our songs onto finest vinyl. The 7” single was released on 31st March 2012.
