Johny's Whiney / Confession Of A Skinhead

The Fishska was formed in late 1997 in Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia.
They have been an active part within the Indonesian underground's grass roots scene.

In 2023 they released a second album, 'Banned In Jakarta'. Two songs in that album are now released by Liquidator Music: 'Johny's Whiney' and 'Confession Of A Skinhead'. Both songs have 60's style skinhead reggae.

'Confession Of A Skinhead' is based on their experience as young teenage skinheads back in the day. It talks about the cliche of loyalty within the scene, which ended up in a story of betrayal and deceit. 'Johny's Whiney' is more of a working class protest satire, striking on the poor performance of their government.
