Santiago Downbeat is a well respected orchestra that, since 2008, has been devoted to write their original own music, strongly influenced by Jamaican rhythms from the 60’s.
“Every gun makes its own tune”, as Clint Eastwood quoted in The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly (1966).
The year is now 2024 and on this new album Nasser fires his Winchester 1866 "Yellow Boy” (Clint Eastwwoods gun) thirteen times and each tune is a direct hit.

These new tunes es were recorded at Escusalla Sonora, a new studio based in the Galician mountains directed by the band’s bass player Javi Vicalo and produced by Kino L-Cobra, as usual, and Javier Vicalo himself.
Since Roy Ellis came back to the Ska and Reggae music in 2003, he has been traveling all around the globe and met many different bands with which he has been playing with. Some of these bands recorded some tracks with him that now are compiled is this album.

In this release Laurel Aitken cuts an elegant cover from The Paragons classic ‘Only Smile’ on the A side, while in the flip side we can find a conscious roots rock reggae tune which he had recorded before, entitled ‘On The Plantation’, but this one is definitely the best one ever recorded.
The Fishska was formed in late 1997 in Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia. They have been an active part within the Indonesian underground's grass roots scene.
In 2023 they released a second album, 'Banned In Jakarta'. Two songs in that album are now released by Liquidator Music: 'Johny's Whiney' and 'Confession Of A Skinhead'. Both songs have 60's style skinhead reggae.
I am Álvaro Sosa, a bassist musician originally from Cd. Nezahualcóyotl, Mexico, where I grew up and which remains my home to this day. Since my childhood, I have felt a great passion for music, exploring various rhythms and genres. However, Latin rhythms have always been a fundamental part of my life, thanks to the influence of my family. Although I didn't admit it at first, I understood that these rhythms were part of my identity and were rooted in my roots.
Argentinian musicians Andres Cotter and Bebe Ferreyra creates this project released on vinyl, a 4-track EP from classics of Rico's repertoire with the powerful sound of a big band and wrapped in a Txarly Brown exclusive design.
