Amor / Walk The Streets

It has been 9 long years since hte release of their last single 'Paren El Tren' (Stop That Train) for seeing released new material from Smooth Beans. So they have been recording at A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio under Roberto Sánchez production a bunch of new songs.

This new single is the first release from those sessions, two vocal tunes, both in Spanish and English, the first of them, Amor, is a new Smooth Beans composition, and the flip 'Walk The Streets', is a Derrick Harriott cover.

Making History:
Born in Cantabria in 2008, their sound is rooted in the classic rhythms of Jamaica: Ska, Rocksteady, and Reggae. Since then, they have performed over 100 concerts across Spain, France, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, and Belgium.

Their unique sound has taken them to festivals such as Rototom Sunsplash in Benicàssim, Rock’n’Stock in Preignan (France), and Riverside Stomp in Mainz (Germany). They have completed two European tours and a mini-tour of France.

Their discography includes two LPs: 'At Low Fyah!' and 'Keep Talking', along with five 7” singles. One of them, Awake, was released in collaboration with Jamaican singer Dudley Sibley. They have also contributed to several compilation albums alongside other bands, such as 'Racing Calling', 'Todo Hombre Es Una Isla' and 'The Clash Goes Jamaican'.

Since 2015, the band has gone through several lineup changes, and after years of work they recorded the tracks for their sixth single, 'Amor', as well as for their upcoming third full-length album. They are also currently on tour, presenting these new songs.
