...And Friends

From Hisingen, Gothenburg, comes Hjalmar B Allstars with their first full-length LP. After several 7" and 10" releases, the band now takes a big leap forward with 11 intense rocksteady and reggae tracks.

The core of the band —Alexis, Göran, Tobbe, and Jakob— is joined by a horn section featuring Jens and Simon. Although the singer had to leave early in the recording process, the group emerged stronger than ever, boasting the vocals of five dear friends: Lovve, Anton, Ludde, Carl, and the enigmatic E.

The special touch comes with María on flute on the western-inspired instrumental "Night Chef." The result: an album marked by the power of collaboration, with a sound as real and powerful as the cold, wet asphalt of their hometown.
