Description

The drum, bass, guitars, piano and organ of this riddim were recorded live at the A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio, being all musicians together in the same room with just a few ribbon mics. The idea was to recreate the sound of the golden era of rocksteady when all musicians shared the same room for a recording. According to that idea the room was not 100% dry and most of the microphones were ribbon mics giving the recording a unique atmosphere.

In addition the session was recorded 100% analogically, using an eight track studer A80 reel to reel multitrack recorder (1 inch).

Voice Recorded at Anchor Studio (Kingston, JA).
Production Assistance by Afrikan Bumpz Muzik.

Riddim recorded and mixed at A-Lone Ark Muzik Studio
